On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, we remember the fallen. Today is Armistice Day, when the guns fell silent at the end of the First World War 103 years ago.
We pause today to remember all those who have served in all wars and conflicts. We thank them for their service and sacrifice.
“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun & in the morning We will remember them.”
